Title: does any one know what this is for??

it was located here... right above the rear lights.

it weights about 2 pounds and i was just wondering what the heck its for.

Post by: BanditAllan on October 28, 2008, 05:21:12 PM: Its a vibration dampener, basically a hunk of metal on a rubber mount. At certain times when vibrations pass through the frame this will vibrate instead and cancel those vibs in the surrounding area.
