Does anyone know if the sprockets from a 98 Katana 600 are interchangable with a 98 Bandit 600.  Also, are the number of teeth the same?

The K6 came in 15/47, the B6 came in either 15/47 or 15/48.
The 15/47 B6 has the same p/n's for sprockets as the K6.

Katana and early GSXR are the same. Go to JTSprockets website and look for a match between years.

Why put on used sprockets? They don't cost that much and they could shorten the life of your chain wich will cost you more. I replace mine when I change my chain.

I agree, Smooth - I was just figuring the Q was posted because he found a new set someone was advertising and wanted to know if they'd work on his Bandit.
