Title: Fuel guage- replacement?!

Can I replace the stock fuel guage with an aftermarket one? Is this technically possible?  I am building a streetfighter, and I am removing the stock guages, however I still want to have a fuel gauge.

Should be possible if you can find a gauge you like that operates on the same resistance settings as the stock one.
(Sorry, I don't know what range that is.)
