Title: Full Hindle systems
Post by: deepink on April 06, 2006, 04:43:44 PM
Are the Hindle full systems any better than anyone else.  I had a Remus on order from italy, but they can't give me an exact ship date.

Was supposed to be here last week, but now they say it may leave today or tomorrow.  ("Be Patient"  is what they tell me)

Kind of a PIA, but I wanted the high mount pipe.  So I am very limited.

Anyone out there have a hindle experience - goo or bad?

No personal experience, just from folks I know and on boards. Never heard anything bad about any of their stuff - and plenty of praise.
FWIW - The Brock/Hindle Street Smart system was the winner of Fast Larry's Bandit header shootout.

I just put a Hindle full system on my '03 1200 and love it.

It weighs only 3.7kg and has made a big difference to the midrange and top end. Plus it sounds great.

I used to play ball hockey with him and my uncle as a kid, he moved pretty good with those plastic knees of his    Sorry that's the only "personal experience" I have. From what I've heard the Lang Hindle pipes and systems are one of the best out there. He's an old Canadian superbike racer so he knows these air/oil cooled 16valves fours pretty well.

Here's his story:

Anyone who gets fifth after years of hiatis against all the factory teams must know a thing or two about getting power.

I have the Brock Davidson (Street Smart System) and like it. The header and mid pipe are stainless and the muffler is titanium. The whole system weighs about 8lbs. It's not obnoxiously loud, but still sounds great.

I nutted up and bought the Full Hindle system.  Carban fiber canister.  The nice thing - I ordered it yesterday, and got it today.  Gotta love Great Customer Service.

Should finally get the bike running this weekend after almost 2 years.

A while back,Fast Larry from the Bandits R US site did a dyno campro with several exhaust systems. The hindle/Brock pulled the best hpand torque readings and was the lightest.FL also has the only all Ti exhaust that they made. I don't remember all the different brands used,I know Holeshot was 1,Yoshi,forget how many. But if you get on his site he'd probably bring them up for you.

Deepink,
Very nice. My track crash scrubbed my Dale header (don't buy those dang Suzuki case guards) so I'm in the market. Who's your supplier?

Parts Unlimited sells this set-up.  Any dealer or aftermarket shop should be able to get you one.  I can PM you the place in Houston that got mine for me.

I am sure he can drop ship to you.  He does for me all the time.

For a high mount, I went with Holeshot.  What does the Hindle high mount cost?  This is a pic of mine with a Holeshot high mount.
