Title: Heated Grips, Throttle lock, hand guards and Grip puppies on a 02 B6?

I am the new owner of an 02 B6 :grin: that has a throttle lock. I've installed the Cdn version of Grip Puppies and would like to add both heated grips (a must!) and hand guards. The heated grips should be easy (Kimpex in Canada) but I don't see much wrt hand guards, and not with the throttle lock. Saw some post using the Vstrom guards, which my SO has on his WeeStrom, and wondering how they might work on my bike.
Any thoughts, comments and advice is greatly appreciated.

P.S. I need the HG + HG because I ride until my keys are locked away, and I ALWAYS have cold hands!

I've got the Wee Strom hand guards on my 03 1200S, went right on.  Only problem I had was not realizing the bar end weights should only be LOOSENED, do not take the bolts all the way out, but got the inner bar section out eventually.

Heated grips are great, I tapped into the carb heater plug wires under the tank since that is switched just to prevent problems.  If you don't have them yet check on dual-star heated grips, no heat sink to deal with.
