Hi people. I'm resurrecting my drag racing career, and building a nitrous B12. I need to know what the stock full advance ignition timing for a 2005 B12 is, so I can set up my Dyna 2000 and calculate the retard timing figure for the gas. The only info I can find in the factory manual says 7* advance at 1500rpm, but gives no other figures. Anybody know?

the only way to find the true setting is to put a degree wheel on it. The factory settings are not always exact.

Idle advance is set by the position of the rotor on the end of the crank. Full advance is set by the advance curve built into the cdi. This is the figure I need. You cannot get this from a degree wheel , as it is electronic.

Well Yogi, sounds like you know too much, I'll inform Suzuki's Hitman and he'll be around to sort you out!

If you know that the advance is in the CDI, ask suzuki. Shit a brick ask us where to find the oil filler cap or something like that.

Have you asked any "high rev engineers"? They may be your only hope on this one. :monkeymoon:
