I replaced the chain and sprockets as the old onces were thoroughly worn out. Took the bike for a ride up in the mountins and couldn't believe the difference! The bike now runs sooooo smooth. I did back out the mixture screws 1/4 of a turn extra each and it just runs brilliantly. So it's a new OEM filter, new plugs, checked and adjusted the TPS, carbs balanced, jets are standard but mixture screws set to 3 and 3/4 out from lightly seated. So far I'm really happy with the power and the fact it's runnig so well I'm now less inclined to mess too much more with it..... unless someone can vouch for the difference I can expect from fitting one of Holeshots stage 1 kits? Love my B12!
2006 B12 112.5 Mains, adjustable needles (full rich), std pilots 3.75 turns out, K&N, airbox 1.5" mod, Staintune exh.

Well I don't know its up to you. You do get alot of bang for the $120 bucks spent on a jet kit. Should take an afternoon to install. If you wanted to keep with what you have maybe just slipping a shim or two under the needle and you'll get a little more juice or going up one main jet to 102.5. Alot of guys do this when they just want to have a smooth running bike with the stock setup.
2005 Bandit 1200, Modified Holeshot Stage 1 with 17.5 pilots 2.75 turns out, and 110 mains 5 shims. Muzzy Slip on w/mid-pipe, stock filter. 1.5" hole in the airbox lid.
