anybody ever try and respace a set of mikuni rs carbs? if it can be done what is needed?
-
On mine, there are two sets of holes, in all the parts, which leads me to believe that the spacing can be
changed. I have a set that are completly disassembled, two of the carb bodies are bad. They came off of a 89 GSXR 1100, If you need any of the parts, let me know.

i have a set of 38's on my 900 ninja i was thinking of trying i know they are sloted and i have heard it can be done but i don't know anyone who has really ever done it
-
we talking round slides old smooth bore style
I had a set on my bandit 400 motor worked OK dont like not having a accelerator pump but spacing and moving around is easy just re sync when done
-
nope flatslide carbs. :idea:wonder if my 33 smoothbores would work?
-
if they have spots on the throttle rod to move they should be a piece of cake my RS's had two spots on that rod then the cross bars where slotted with one fixed carb which was the one closest to where the cable went
