Title: NEW REAR TIRE - ? 190 vs 180 ?

OK-
I have a 2001 BANDIT 1200.

It has a 180 /55 - 17 tire on it.

I have a buddy with a brand new 190 and that he does not need.

Will it fit ?
What kind of differences would I see in control,etc. ?

It may fit without trouble, but some 190's seem to require a slight tweaking of the link that locates the caliper (ie; if the tire rubs it).
For 1250 owners, this is on the 1200's - the 1250 is slightly different, so this may or may not be valid advice for them.

Handling will slow slightly due to the added width.
