Title: Noob question - B6s K2 seat removal

I just bought a used 2002 B6S and it needs the battery replaced.  

I haven't had time to purchase a manual yet. :?:

1.  How do I get the seat off?
2.  Is that going to get me to the battery?

Any help would be MOST appreciated!d
