o ring number 11143-32f00
« on: November 14, 2017, 05:10:28 PM »
Hello all, I am reinstalling my head and am in need of some info. I am replacing the 6 head o rings part # 11143-32F00. I have looked all over and cannot find specifications for this part. Does anyone have these specs? Thanks. Basically I am cheap and would like to source them elsewhere than Suzuki.

AFAIK Suzuki does not provide official specifications for their O-ring sizes. You have to go with trial-error method if it is feasible for your case. I did it with carbs because these are fairly easilly accessible. You only can tell for sure that they use metric sizes.

Those six "O-rings" are actually GASKETS... they are (slightly) cylindrical in shape and have a steel core.
I'm not sure why you would want to find after-market parts to match... why not just use the OEMs? They're about $4 each... not exactly KILLER for a head tear-down budget I'd say.

It's interesting that when installing a big-bore piston kit (JE/Wiseco), you're not SUPPOSED to use those gasket things. I actually did use them the first time I installed a bore kit on my B12... found out later (after some leaking) that the Cometic steel head gasket doesn't use those.

I ended up buying them from Suzuki. I thought if they were standard o rings I could match them up. I ordered one and it was easy to tell they were non standard. Thanks guys
