I'm thinking about getting Dale's PAR removal kit and I was wondering if this would cause problems with the jet kit I just install in my B6?

I put the Dales kit on my B12 with no problems, hardest part was scrapeing the old gaskets off. There was no differance in running/jetting.

Did it free up a lot space above the engine and get rid of the hoses and such?  It's pretty to install right, I don't have pull the motor apart to install the kit am I correct?

It's very easy to install... the majority of the job is just removing everything. Bill Blade covers it very well right here. (http://www.bladesbandit.com/hose.htm)
(Keep in mind he's doing a CA bike that has some extra smog foo-foo others don't have like the roll-over valve and charcoal cannister.)

It has no effect on jetting, and other than the very small weight savings, no effect on performance. (You'd save this much weight just from taking a healthy dump.) It does clear up space on top of the motor which makes valve cover area work (plug changes, valve adjustments) easier.

Ease of maintenance.

Besides that, what else is there if there's no performance gain and the weight savings is negligible?  It's pretty much a given mod if you go to pod filters since there's nowhere to tap clean air anymore with the airbox gone... that was the main reason I ditched mine.

In theory at least the exhaust valves should last longer.  With the air injection there's actually some combustion taking place in the exhaust pipe with higher temperatures being reflected back towar the valve and seat.  

I took mine off early on and so I can't claim to know for sure.  I did adjust the valves at 600 miles and at subsequent checks at 7500, 15000 and 22000 miles NO further adjustment was needed.  All are ticking away merrily like 16 tiny mice busy at typewriters!
