Hello everyone. I just purchased an '02 B6 last weekend and I'm loving it, but the previous owners did not take good care of it. As such, I'm starting to look for parts and wanted to know what years / models I can expect to find parts that fit for it. I know that in general 2000-2003 parts are mostly the same, so I'm more curious about what parts are shared in common with the B12 or other models in this time period.
If anyone has the left and/or right cowling covers (where the turn signals mount up front) that they want to get rid of, I'm definitely interested. POs replaced the turn signals with flush mounts that are not visible and do not work well, so I'd like to go back stock. Unfortunately to do this, they cut the entire mounting area out of the fairings. If there is another fix that doesn't involve new fairings, I'm interested in that as well.
And, since (according to another forum), the bike doesn't exist without pictures:

The bodywork of the 1200 from 2001-2005 is the same, except for colors and decals... and 1200 gas tanks all have fuel sending units, whereas the B6 didn't get a gas gauge right away. Speedo is the same, tach is different. While most of the chassis parts are different, most will interchange if you take enough parts... for instance, the 600 has smaller forks, but if you swap a complete 1200 front end, including the triple trees, it'll swap over nicely. Other front end swap (Gixxer or Busa) that apply to the 1200 will also work on the 600.

Thanks, I wondered if the bodywork was the same--much easier to find 1200 parts on eBay than 600 parts.
