I have a 1986 GSXR 750 motor that I need to do something with. I was wondering if this would be a good swap for my Bandit 600? And if so what are the steps involved in swapping motors? Will the 750 have more power than my 600?

anybody???

Power is easy, the 750 is gonna be stronger everywhere. It should be a pretty good match. The B6 suspension and wheels are better/stronger than the early 86-87 GSXR pieces and should handle the power. As far as fitiment, its guess work. There are a few 7/11 sites that go into detail on fitting a GSXR1100 motor into the 750 frame. There might be useful info there.
Expect unforseen problems, but I am sure it can be done.
Good Luck, Ed.

It's a bolt-in swap. They are externally the same. Same mount locations, height, width, etc. GSXR & Katana 750's have been swapped by a few folks here.
Here's a couple threads to check out:
