New guy here.
Could someone tell me if the 98 1200 exhaust is the same as the 99? When did it change? Lots more Q's to come.
Thanks,
David

David they're the same. The next generation 1200 Bandit started in 2001.

I picked up a 98 1200 and the exhaust pipe is rusted in the mid section. I then purchased a used 99 stock head pipe and mid section from Ebay. My bike has a Hole shot muffler that clamps on and the stock one I received has a 3 bolt flange??  Was the slip on or 3 bolt stock on my 98? Where can I get a replacement mid pipe for a slip on muffler? Thanks

The 3 bolt flange is stock for that year. Holeshot exhausts are a slipon . If your midpipe and can are holeshot, You might want to contact them about repairing or getting another midpipe.
