Stage 1 Dynojet
« on: December 30, 2006, 10:51:03 AM »
Hi guys. I'm getting a Stage 1 dynojet kit and 5 degree ignition advancer fitted soon to my K4 1200. I have a Scorpion pipe fitted and the wheelie wire has been disconnected. It was running 111 bhp with the baffle out before but running well weak and rough as a badgers arse. Any ideas how much i'd get after fitting the other bits? Many thanks.

The Dynojet kits are noted for being 'troublesome' on a 2nd Gen 1200.

If you haven't purchased it yet, you may want to consider one of the alternatives, (Ivan's, Holeshot, Factory Pro) although I understand pricing in the UK can be higher on these.

Hi guys. Had the Dynojet kit and advancer fitted a couple of weeks ago now and had no troubles at all. It has made a fantastic difference to the bike, pulls like a train and sounds lovely.

When I first started working on bikes for other people, about 15 years ago, all I did was jet kits and exhaust. If you follow the instructions, you shouldn't have any problem with dynojet jet kits. If the kit says that it is for a stock air box, then you need to leave the air box stock, I learned that the hard way.
If I didn't have a Suzuki, I would have a Kawasaki

+1    Fitted the Dynojet stage 3,  raised needle one clip from initial instructions and the bike flys.   I don't know why some give the kit bad rep ?     Gaz.
