Title: Starter Switch Assembly - 2G 1200

Has anyone taken one of the apart to get to the starter switch???  I have some gunk in there preventing my headlight from coming on and need to clean it out.  The on-line micro-fiche shows that whole housing as a single unit... please tell me I don't have to replace the whole thing....   :yikes:
