Ok,
I've jetted with the largest mains Dynojet had in their stage1 kit.
They didn't seem to be that much larger than the stock mains but I know the needles are tapered more.
So I still have this stutter at 1800-2000 rpm, even under no load.
You can just hold it there and it's not happy at that rpm.
I'm thinking maybe carb sync so that's gonna happen real soon, but just wondered if this was another gliche?
PS; bike runs like a raped ape now, even warms up quiker.
Revs freely thanks to the springs Dyno supplied.

Hopefully a Dynojet user will pipe in with some clues. Most are running Holeshot or Ivan's kits - which don't usually exhibit problems... unlike DJ.
-
The problem was there before though.
I wonder about these mid jets cause the idle ciruit seems fine.

If your bike is a 2G B12, (you don't say which), and you have not replaced the stock pilot jets, turn the fuel screws underneath each carb out 3.5 to 4 turns from fully closed. That'll fix it. Alternatively put 27.5 pilots in and start at 1.5 turns out and use a co meter to set your idle mixture. These screws affect running up to about 2500 rpm

Actually, he did.
It's in his sig...
(Don't feel bad, I almost missed it myself)
03 Bandit, stock for now!

27.5 pilots!!!
From 15 stock?
The so called "mechanics" say it should be off the pilots by then but what'da I know. I'm just a shade tree mechanic, working in the sun.;)
I'll try anything if it's proven to work.
My screws are already at 3.5 turns.
