Reaper, could you show me which gear it is on the fische then?

It looks to me that the smaller gear is part of #1. I can't find a seperate part number for it.

Apparently it is part of the gen drive gear. Two gears in one with the price to prove it.  :duh:

You need to check the mating gear on the oil pump, it could be damaged, also, you need to find those teeth. Try a magnet, but if all else fails, pull the oil pan.
I have 2 or 3 of those gears from GSXR 1100s, I can send you one, and the gear for the oil pump, PM me you address if your want them.
 :beers:

I have one for a 1989 GSXR 1100, according to Suzuki, the part numbers are different between the Bandit and GSXR.
Your welcome to it, if it will work.
