Title: Ticking/clunking when braking

OK, so just started happening recently.

When I'm braking I get this ticking noise coming from somewhere in engine. I've had a cursory look around with pulling anything apart and nothing's loose. Make me think it's something to do with drive train. If I pull the clutch in then never get any suspect noise...

Any ideas??

I'd start with the simple stuff, lube and adjust your chain.
