i have a bandit 600 1998 , new to the bandit scene , was always the bike i was gonna get
 i need to replace the drive chain but it seems to me there are a shit load of chains to choose from
i also wish to drop a tooth on the front sprocket. will i need to shorten the chain ??
what chains to 600 owners go for      :thanks:

I like the D.I.D. 530ZVM gold x-ring chain.
I also went up two teeth on the back sprocket.

Stock length will be fine for a one tooth drop up front.

Can't go wrong with the DID ZVM, I have one on my B12 right now. The chain prior to that was a DID VM which is a notch down in strength and price and it gave me ~25K miles of service.
