i see a lot of post about synchronizing carbs. what would make them get out of synch? how would u know there out of synch?

Carb sync is the alignment of the throttle blades to one another or another way to say it is that at ten percent throttle all blades are at 10 percent open. Usually out of sync will cause vibration. Carbs are adjusted with a set screw and can vibrate out of adjustment as well as small differences in the efficiency of each carb can change over time as the parts wear or become dirty.

When your bike starts idling poorly - you may beed to synch the carbs. Also a good idea to synch them after doing a rejet. If it idles fine, i wouldn't worry about it

Actually rejeting will not affect carb sync unless you mess with the screws for it. Valve adjusting will affect carb syncing,
