So i took off my gas tank cause im try to do some rejetting on my 2001 b600s and i found two female connectors that were connecting to nothing!!!! were do they go to!? one was right next to the air box on the right, and the other was right over top of the carbs i couldnt fingure it out so i am turning to the experts to find out WTF!!!
pictures to come.
thanks.

I'm pretty sure those are for the carb heaters.... which don't come on the USA models... only the Euro models.
So don't fret it.
-
aahh ok.
thanks

I also found the same thing on my 96 600,
traced it down to being the same loom as the 1200. it has a fuel gauge and K-Tric.
-
sooo... if i wanted to i can put in a fuel gage? and what is a K-trick??
-
1 you could put a fuel gauge in, but it would mighty expensive, (a) find a 1200 tank, with the gauge sender unit (b) Then find the gauge set, to suit. :yikes: My question in return would be why? Res position on the gas tap cuts in, on mine with 6 litres of fuel left 1/3 tank. When this happens its time to fill up, Res fuel tap where made to stop people from opening their tank and putting lit matches in them, to see how much fuel they had left :duh:
2 K-tric is a sender unit mounted on the throttle butterfly shaft, that sends throttle position info, back to the ignitor box.

I believe K-tric is a Kawasaki moniker for a Throttle Position Sensor, which the '01 B12 has.
