Need some recommendations for a carb synch tool?
« on: October 11, 2005, 06:40:13 PM »
Hey guys, could you recommend some carb synch tools?  I'm thinking of going with the Morgan II 4 carb tool, which is approximately $110.  I've looked at Holeshot's (about $75 with s/h), but it doesn't seem to have as many adaptors/accessories as the Morgan, which are nice, and can use if I buy another friend for my B12.
As always, thanks again for the help!

Anybody?  Maybe I should repost this in "product reviews."  Just want to get some suggestions because I'd like to order this tool by today or tomorrow.
Thanks again, in advance, for any recommendations.

I was in your boat about 6 months ago.  I went ahead and bought the Morgan Carbtune II for $110.  Man, I love it.  And I have used it a lot more than I thought I would.  I strongly recommend it, although I have little basis for comparison.  Works great and it comes with screw in nipple attachments for other syles of bikes (like my honda CB)!  Although, most newer bikes like our bandits have the nipples right on the carb.

And it's amazing how many friends you have once they find out you have one!

Hey Jesse, thanks again for the input bro--you are the man! You helped me out last time with those progessive springs.  Your "how to" was awesome.  I ordered the Morgan today--can't wait to synch my carbs with this new tool--just in time for cold weather riding.  I'll let you know how it works out.  Oh yeah, I've got 2 or 3 of my boys wanting to use the tool even before I ordered the damn thing.
Thanks again for the info!   :thanks:
