Title: Yosh RS3 vs Yosh TRS vs Leo Vince Evo II
Post by: NomisQC on September 29, 2007, 04:59:38 AM
Which pipe should I get, granted they are about the same price (300$ + shipping) ?

Yoshimura RS3 (http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/Yoshimura_RS-3_Race_Slip-On_Exhaust_Suzuki_GSF1200--501754.html)

Yoshimura TRS (http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/Yoshimura_Tri-Oval_Race_Slip-On_Exhaust_Suzuki_GSF1200--501581.html) (Best performance ?)

LEO VINCE EVO II (http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/LeoVince_Standard_Mount_EVO-II_Racing_Slip-On_Suzuki_GSF1200_Bandit--621407.html)  (Removable baffle ?)

Any major pros or cons on any of these pipes ?

Any other suggestions ?

Thanks !

For just a slip-on, I'd say go with whatever you like the looks of best. Check out Holeshot & Hindle, too.

Even in the FULL-system shootout tests Fast Larry did a few years back, (http://www.portablepct.com/fastlarry/exhaust.htm) there was a small difference between 1st place Hindle and Yoshimura and Holeshot's old & new systems. If you're going racing, it might be important, but otherwise, not.

The Yosh Zyclone setups are some of the quietest, just a little quieter than the Holeshot "Street" core cans, but still sound nice when you whack the throttle hard.

My son has a Yosh TRS full-system on his 1G and it's not offensive... at least to me. You might wanna ask the neighbors in his apartment complex though.
