My first ever online video.LOL  Not sure how it sounds- my laptops speakers suck.

Sounds nice!

Does the bend of the pipe upward stay the same as stock? Otherwords it is not any higher at the end than stock? I am trying to decide if these aftermarket slip-on pipes will have a more upward bend and interfere with my Givi sidebags that I have on the bike occasionally.
-
Damn, that sounds really nice! The black-on-black looks great.
-
the bend is not the same as stock- I meant to measure before and after- since I plan on some Give V35/Suzuki bags eventually. But I forgot to. :duh: I will take measurement from mine- then someone else can check the stocker.
The sound is sweet! I can finally hear the bike when I ride. 3000-6000 roll ons are music to the ears. I find myself holding that gear a lil longer now to enjoy the sound.
it seems to be a lil more pep for sure in first and second gear...likes to float the front more easily for sure. The popping on decel isn't as bad as I thought it would be- but I need to do the PAIR block thing.
All in all- I find it made the bike more fun. I wouldn't call it LOUD as I would call it, noticeable. Idle sounds nice and deep- and wrapping her up- it will talk a lil. I can just hear it when cruising with my helmet on. It is like equal amounts of engine and exhaust.

leedog I would appreciate the measurements with the pipe on. Pick a fixed point on the bike that would be a good reference back to the stocker. I have been looking at the profiles of various pipe pics and have been going by the line from the footpeg mount back to say the reflector on the tag frame mount. Stock is about 1 1/2 below the bottom of the reflector roughly give or take a 1/4". With my V35's on there is 1 5/8" from the bottom of the bag to the top of the OEM muffler at the very back of course the OEM muffler is quite long. The V35s with Givi racks seem to be even with the bottom of the reflector and run from there down at teh same angle as teh bodywork on teh bike. Man I want a pipe bad but I want to keep the bags also. I know this bike sounds good with a pipe you should hear my GSXR1000 with a M4 TI pipe on it, music to a mans ears.

Did you get the street or comp core? Sounds great.
-
Roy- I am soo sorry- I forgot to do it yesterday and I am back offshore mow til thursday- but I will get it for you...with a pic off where I measure from.
Woodsm- it is the Comp1 core- dale sold it to me as a Blemished unit. his Comp 2's he told me where essentially the same...that mine MIGHT be 1 horse shy of the Comp 2 if that. Said they should sound the same also. I ran it with no slip on at all...straight off the cat...it was pretty roudy...the slip on is perfectly in the middle IMO.

I'm planning to install mine this weekend, I'm planning on measuring as well... hopefully I won't forget.. That way we'll have an exact measurement on the same bike. Should take any guesswork out of how different people are measuring..

Ok, I just installed the Holeshot slip-on, TFI, o2 bypass, and air box mods. Sounds fantastic, just enough growl to not be obnoxious while still being plenty loud. Performance wise, definitely an increase, but it's deceiving just like the power delivery before. There's no big rush of power, just smooooooth, elbow-socket detaching umph from 2k on. It does seem noticeably smoother at lower RPMs with Dale's settings on the TFI box. I'll post up more impressions after I put more than a couple miles on it.
For those that are curious about clearance for hardbags, I lost what seems to be just at 2". Measuring from the stock can to the top of the turn signal I got 5 1/4". With the HS setup it dropped to 3 1/4" or maybe a hair less even. How much room did you guys have between the bags and the stock can? Hopefully it's 2" or a little more...
Let us know about bag clearance those of you w/ bags.

I have 1 5/8" clearance at the top of OEM muffler to bottom of Givi V35 bag at the back of the bag. So if you lost 2"+- then as I suspected the HS won't work with hard bags.
Thanks for the measurements!

Is there anyway to 'shim' up the bag somehow? It's awfully close... you only need about another 1/2".

Sounds awesome, man. Here's one that I wouldn't mind fitting

the last one sound pretty good- but it still looks like a big can.
