Hi there I saw the handguard note in the 1250 FAQ but my research came up with a different answer so I wanted to post it here and get your "expert" opinion so I order the right parts as I'm in Canada and it won't be an option to return them.
Okay this is what I understand:
- I have to order the DL650 handguards with mounting kit BUT the left guard will not bolt right on because the DL650 has a cable clutch and the Bandit has a hydraulic one so
- I have to also order the DL1000 left hand guard which is a direct bolt on as the DL1000 has a hydraulic clutch just like the Bandit.
If that is true then my question is:
- will the mounting bits that come in the DL650 guard kit allow me to mount the DL1000 left hand guard or do I have to order some additional pieces to make this happen....?
