I'm installing my new Scorpion slip-on this evening and I want to block off the PAIR valve as has been suggested here. Does anyone have a photo to show me exactly where this is and how you get to it?

On the air/oil cooled bikes it's mounted to the frame, under the fuel tank, over the valve cover. I'd guess the water-pumpers would be similar.

My Scorpion came with the midpipe it was the SS oval version.
Unless I totaly back of the juice from at least 65 mph there is no popping and even then its not bad. Kinda reminds me of my old Lt1 with the Borla catback. :)
Anyhow....
As easy as the PAIR mod is you may want to scoot around a bit to see how it sounds before you did into it.
You may be suprised. just my 2c

Almost every Par system works off the same principal, pulling additional air from the airbox to feed to the exhaust ports and provide more air to the hot gases so they burn up more and better. There is no need to remove the system and lose all the parts, just block it at the air supply side hose at the air box with a plastic bottle cap or cork or fat bolt and secure it with electricians tape. Having it installed make it ready to activate if and when emission laws are enforced you will be ready, not buying one on ebay.
