Scuffed Tank Paint
« on: March 11, 2008, 03:20:20 PM »
I don't know if this has come up before however I managed to knock the gloss of the tank paint - Black Pearl - with my knees during one day's riding (300 miles) wearing leather Dainese jeans. Never had a problem with those jeans before and it polished out but I was surprised all the same. Any other paint problems experienced?

I've used about every scratch remover there is... and the best one happens to be about the cheapest... Kit "Scratch Out".  It's at Autozone & Wal-Mart.

Should work great on scuffed clearcoat.

Ditto on the KIT.......Meguires "Swirl and Haze" remover works good too!
