Title: Throttle body synch question
Post by: Buford on September 19, 2007, 10:02:03 PM
How often is this required on the 1250 Bandit?

I have sort of been considering getting a good all-around, semi-sporty, semi-sport-tourer. I used to have a Yamaha FZ6, and thought it fit that bill pretty well. However, it required a throttle-body synch every 4K miles. That was just too darn much.   :annoy:

It was an oversight on my part to give away my Morgan Carbtune synchronizer with the sale of my B1200, only to discover that I will need it for the throttle bodies, a glorified form of carburetor. The Morgan Carbtune is the most accurate, well made, and simplest synchronizer I have ever used. Looks like I will have to buy another. http://www.carbtune.com/index.html (http://www.carbtune.com/index.html)
