Hi,
I just found this Texas branch of the forum. I ride mostly on the weekends, loops into the hill country or a run to College Station to visit my folks. If anyone is interested in scenic routes in the hill country let me know and I'll post some of my favorites. Also here's a link to my web site with photos of my bike mods.

Welcome to the site (Texas that is)!!!  Good to know we are covering the State to a large extent.  The Hill country is a bit more than a day ride for us in East Texas but maybe when things cool down we'll head that way.   :beers:

BTW - nice looking tank ya got there.

I am currently in San Antonio for a few more weeks and I have my bike with me.  I found the hill country this last weekend using a combination of directions and exploring.  Maybe we could get together this weekend for a  ride.  I posted a post a couple of weeks ago, but didn't get any responses.  http://forums.banditalley.net/viewtopic.php?t=2004

I'm going on a group ride from Joe Harrison Motorsports this Sunday (10/9/05). We are going to ride some of the best roads in the hill country. Here is a link to their website for more details.

I unfortunatley done get out and ride as much as I would like due to that nasty thing called homework and studying... But I am an officer in the Texas A&M Motorcycle Club, so we try and get out regularly

Hi Adam,
I've been in the San Antonio area for 12 years and have maped many of my favorite hill country rides. If you or your club ever plan a ride this way I can supply you with a few routes that can maximize your fun riding and eliminate a lot of trial and error looking for the good roads.

I had a hard time finding the exit.  I think I saw y'all heading the opposite direction.  I didn't know that the meeting place was going to be so far out.  I got pass I-10 and was thinking that maybe I went the wrong way, so I went back a ways.  Then I got directions and found out that I didn't go far enough.  :duh:
