The dragrace is still on for July 16 at Rusk, TX and July 17 at Red River Raceway just north of Shreveport. Both are all motorcycle races

I've got the Rusk day penciled in..... just need to know what time y'all want to meet and where.  I think some others locally would be interested also.  Any other Texans want to join in????

I'm OK with meeting in Tyler or any place else that is convenient.

I'm still planning to go to the Rusk event.  What time do the races start?  Where is the strip in relation to the town of Rusk?  I live in Whitehouse and hwy 110 is a straight shot to Rusk.  We could meet at the MacDonalds in Whitehouse, eat, and then leave from there?

Bikes AND cars were running tonight...  did see a 7.8 - 169mph pass by a bike tonight.... very kewl indeed.  One guy ran his '97 (maybe '98?) Bandit 1200S and put up some nice numbers but I forget what they were exactly.  BTW - his bike had 41,000 miles on it!!!!  Too bad the rain and lighting failure postponed the finals but we had a good time.

It was a 97 model and the best time that I saw was an 11.36 sec run at 126 mph.  Had a great time Jay!   :beers:
