ought the B12s back in April at a dealership in Spring (woodlands) TX by the name of C&C Cycles. Bike was there on consignment. Never got the name of the PO. Dealer gave me a nice bill of sale and off I go back to MS. Week went by and no title. Gave the dealer a call and got voice mail. I continued this for a week then finally the voice mail was full.

Filed a complaint with the TX DOT. They determined that they couldn't locate the dealer and that he had closed up shop and left. They did revoke his license and levy fines against it.

Was told I'd have to file for a Bonded Title or locate the PO and get them to get me a copy of the title. Bike wasn't stolen as the TX DOT confirmed, as well as my insurance company. Just need to find the PO. Some sort of Privacy laws prevent them from giving me the name of the PO

As said it's a 2001 B12s in red, with Troy Lee Design rocket decals on the bike. Anyone see this bike before??? Know the PO???

Firstly.....   :welcome: to B/A!!

Secondly.... you might consider posting this on TWO WHEELED TEXANS (http://www.twtex.com/)  -  There are a bunch of folk from that area who may be able to assist.

Good luck with your search.

***Update***

Thanks txbandit, Two wheeled texans led me to motohouston and help.

A couple of folks over at MotoHouston knew the owner and hooked me up with some contact information. Got in touch with the dealer today.

Turns out right around the time I bought the bike his father in CA died. He closed up shop pronto and headed for CA to take care of his mother and bury his father. Has been there ever since.

He apologized profusely and told me he'd dig through the files, find the title and get it to me pronto.

Hopefully i'll have it very soon.

Thanks all for your help.
