I got one you can have (well, buy)

This weather's annoying - this time last year it was 20'c I heard on the news. And what... it's about 7c atm?

Just hope it perks up for the weekend

You guys don't know how good you have it!     I've gone my whole life dreaming of some significant snow that would last more than a day and a half.  I remember a few winters in the '60s where 2-4 inches of snow might hang around for like a week, but that hasn't happened in a very long time.  I dreamed of sledding, skating, building one snowman after another.

If you lived here where you virtually never had it, you would miss it.

No mate, it doesn't settle. We have settling snow about once a year, it's about 1 inch deep at most, and it's sludge within 10 minutes.

What we get is like slow rain, and cold conditions.

Never snows where I am, and a I sure as shyte don't miss it.  Every couple of years the kids talk me into taking them to the Snow for a day trip - that's more than enough snow for me....

How do you do it, open a freezer for them! Down under has snow?

Too bloody right (oh sorry that's right you guys don't like the word bloody) we have snow - well not snow like you lot get, but it's still snow.  That's why we call them the Snowy Mountains - and I thought the Kiwis were thick. :stickpoke:

Seriously, we have roughly 3 months when the southern ranges get cold enough for it to snow.  Fortunately, or not, I live around 2-3 hrs from the where it snows - Fortunately, because there are some fantastic roads up there, and not, because snow is cold and wet and slippery and just plain dangerous.

My advice is to watch the weather channel if you want snow while sittling in a freezer. That's about as good as it gets.
