So heres the pics, and the story behind them,
Ok didn't get to leave as planned bright and early, ha.
Not so bright either
In fact by the time we hit Ballart, we knew we where in one of the coldestest spots in Victoria below snow level.
By the time we hit Arrart it wasn't any better in fact a few spits on rain hit the face
But by the time we finally got to Stawell the weather was lighten one just a tad
Not long later we rolled into Halls Gap, a town last Xmas under seige from bushfires, and yes it showed. But with a early spring down here the new growth was starting to show though.
From Halls Gap we headed over the mountain range to find our digs for the night, at a place near Roses Gap.
What a great bit of road yeha
And yes we found the place first time, and in the middle of (Just to piss them Yanks off ) Butt F*#* Idaho. This little gem of a place that the minister found on the net. $30 for the Digs, and the barn, we what a place to get down and party, and the spit roast meal was first class.
Heres the guard dog at the owners pad, not F*#*en joking either, I got with 6 feet of the front door and was told by this female roo that was a far as I was going
Change of batteries, F*#*ed if I know how to set the date bullshyte, anyway who put that crap on here
oh the minister has been f*#*ing with the camera.
The next morning this time bright and early, and hardly a cloud in the sky, and more wonderful sights to see.
As for the trip home, other to say it was a quick one, and shall remain one for the late night story telling around the old camp fire. But I will say we was only doing 100.
As always never enough time
I'm reckon one could blow away a week down here and still not see all the great sights, in this magic little part of Oz.
