TOY RUNS

Thought I'd start a topic on Toy Runs.  More to let everyone know when and where, than to discuss the pro's and con's of them or the 'types' and 'groups' of riders involved.

So to start the ball rolling.

Wagga has the Wagga Combined Riders Toll Group Toy Run on Saturday 2nd December starting at Jubilee Park at 8:00am.  The official launch will be on Saturday 27th October at the Joyce Mayne carpark.

I wouldn't mind doing a country town toy run, With the Melbourne run being so big, its just not enjoyable anymore.
Also with all the splinter groups, putting their so bobs worth in, its getting a bit out of control, and personally with all the bullshyte between the 3 main groups, I quite frankly couldn't be efen bothered.

Yes its a great needy kids, but I often think, its more about egos, of the main 3 groups who claim to run it.  I do really wish they would just F off, and leave it to the MRAA who started it all.

It's a shame when that sort of thing happens.  It almost got that way here, that was until the Hoggies and the Redbacks realised that the Ulysses are very very good at organising this type of event.  So, basically, we leave it to them, but the Hoggies and Redbacks do (usually) have one person each on the organising committee.

It's a shame that people let 'politics' get in the way of what is essentially an event for the benefit of others.
