Well Santa and bloody merry speed camera speed nazi's, sent me a happy christmas letter. cough up $131.00 and we will take 1 demerit point, oh yeh and make sure its paid for by Dec 23. For the horrendous crime, of travelling at a speed less than 10kph over the limit.
Yet I have watched in the last few month, an alarming new trend, of lcd screens being fitted on the dash boards of cars. Yes folks cagers are now watching DVD's, music video's etc while driving. Hello am I missing something here.
Here the topper, Mike from OCD rings me today, yes I'm not at work and yes shock horror, how can this be so, I'm actually having a whole weekend off. Well so I thought. Anyway the TV show two wheel torque, wants to do another show about OCD and some of the projects that have graced the floors, and yep you guessed it they want the Rex. SO what you say. I've been given 48 hrs to have the bike tip top, and ready in the studio, So today it's wash and polish, yes it came up pretty good, but sunday is back at the shop for some goodies to be added. New shinko 190 width rear tyre, Hel braided brake lines, front, rear, and clutch. And some of the sweetest looking handgrips, by Harris, with flame graphics.
I knew it was to good to beleive, a whole weekend off. One day, but I do live in hope.

I sort of know the feeling....

During the winter months I spend my weekends travelling around soccer fields.  Juniors on Saturday, Seniors on Sunday.

Come summer, I think to myself "self isn't this wonderful, soccer season is over, softball is only played on Saturdays, and it's just across the road, time to get some riding in on Sundays"

But alas, 'twas not to be.....You see No1 son (the long tall piece of pelican poop) decides that Baseball would be fun....it's played on Sundays.

So now we have Saturday Softball (the boy umpires, gets paid for it), shopping for the necessities of life, food and beer, and Sunday is Baseball.  

Oh I know, there's the 4 week period of xmas when there's no sport.  But again alas, for that is when we have DOUBLE DEMERIT POINTS, no point even thinking about having fun, I'd loose my licence.....
