New Fully Licensed Rider
« on: April 04, 2008, 01:00:15 AM »
"The Eldest" is now a fully licensed rider, no restrictions.  He know wants to ride either the B12 or the M750.  "The Treasurer" has told him there is no way he's riding the M750, and to be honest I've got to agree with her, I think the B12 is much easier to ride, lighter clutch, smoother power delivery and at 6'3" he'd look like a monkey f**king a football on the M750.

Oh and for the record, he's still on his L's for the car.

I finished early on Friday so I let him take the Bandit out, I followed on his KLR.  He did well, though he wasn't very relaxed, but that's probably my fault.  I told him if he crashed it he was in more trouble than Ned Kelly.

It was only a short 45 minute ride, but he said that he didn't really like it that much, didn't feel comfortable.  I have to say that even though he's 186cm tall, he only weighs 74kg, so it looked strange seeing someone so skinny on such a (relatively) big bike.  'The Treasurer' has said she'll let him take the M750 out in a week or so.

 I think he was probably just terrified of harming the bike,  I'm no bigger (actually smaller) and find the bandit very comfortable to handle, although in tight twisties I do get a bit of a workout.

Hi aussie
the only problem the poor kid has is that you haven't
fed him enough to get the beef on him
But then again remembering  :duh: our grocery bill from teenagers would have kept me in new toys its probably not.
He'll soon be borrowing the keys all the time :).

Not feeding him enough :duh: If he ate anymore we'd have to take out another mortage to cover the grocery bill.

Very soon now he'll be the Army's problem..
