Rally Stickers/patches
« on: March 30, 2005, 06:34:40 AM »
I had to get off my arse and order the stickers so they'd show up in time for the rally.
I ended up ordering 250 of these.

This is almost actual size.   The stickers will be 2.13 inches wide, by 2.75 inches high.
No, this is not the same wheelying bike I used 2 years ago!  It's an 's' model.

I'm thinking of using this graphic for the patch.

It would be 3 inches in diameter so it could fit on a hat like last year, also.
(Last year the patches were 2.75 inches in diameter)

Any ideas on some other wisearse 'quote' for the red bugeye with a 'tude?

I also changed the colors on the 'Mr. Riceburner' graphic to a blue bike, although  it's not much closer to a 'real' bandit color.

I'll use both colors on the shirts, and will decide on one for the patch.

I know it may be that I'm jaded & prejudiced, but I think Mr. Red Riceburner shows more character than Mr. Blue.
IMHO, the black lines that give the facial character are less prominent and tend to blend in on Mr. Blue than on Mr. Red.

Poor Silver guys are gettin' no love at all...  :monkeymoon:

I tried black.  The black lines that define the fairing get lost.
 May keep playing with it.

No, I wasn't asked for maroon... just thought the red showed more of a facial expression than the blue. The red one still works better than the maroon one. I still think the red one is best for this graphic with silver one a close second.

I tried a new supplier, who would let me order 250 in red, white, black, at a decent price.
Since I only have 250, I'll ask each rally attendee only take 2.
Towards the end of the rally, you can take more...if there are any left.
I want to make sure anybody who shows up gets at least one, and I don't have scads of them left over.
I will bring some of the leftover stickers from the previous rallys, for those who are into collecting stuff.
No word on the patches, yet.

Wow, I have't heard from the patch supplier about my order.
Going to call them today to see if there was a screwup.
I'm looking back through my emails, and don't see the normal order confirmation, so I'm wondering if they never got it, or processed it?

We may not have patches this year...

Sorry, no patches or hats this year.
The order wasn't processed, and I didn't catch it until it was too late for the patches to be made in time. :duh:
