Just replaced chain and sprockets at 47,300 miles (OEM, too..
) and now there's a pretty bad vibration in the foot pegs above 3,800 rpm. It really gets your feet to tingling after a 100 miles or so. Prior to the change-out everything was pretty smooth save the harmonic vibe we are all familiar with.
Any ideas on what to look for??? I tightened the sprockets (OEM counter-sprocket with dampener) to spec, bent over the washer, torqued speed sensor to spec, chain is on the loose side. It's enough to make put the old sprocket set on but the counter-sprocket looks like a Ninja throwing star.
I'll pull the cover tonight and look for anything unusual but thought I'd post up for ideas first.
