Aftermarket rear shock (Hyperpro)
« on: May 08, 2005, 04:13:46 PM »
Im considering fitting a new rear shock to my 96 B12, there are quite a few choices what do you guys think about Hyperpro? they do a regular shock and a racing "GP" shock with the remote adjustable reservoir...
not sure if this would make a big difference on the road though?

Another option is a progressive spring, supposed to work well, looks good too in purple.

Has anyone fitted one of these, what you think or better off with Ohlins or another..

I have the progressive spring on my '97 B12 for 2 years now.
Works great for me!
Price/performance is IMHO so much better than an Ohlins or any complete shock.

Only drawback, under "full load" (65 kg passenger and 100kg of me) the higger hits the undertray unless "pre-loaded" is at its maximum.
So, every-time I ride with 2, I have to adjust it.
