BROKEN TURN SIGNALS - REPLACE WITH STOCK OR ??
« on: December 16, 2011, 09:02:13 AM »
Did a little bit of searching and didn't find much info on this.

My new to me 2001 B1200s fell over in the driveway the other day (was on the sidestand).

Broke the ball off the clutch lever and snapped the left turn signal off on the stalk .. also busted the lense.

In looking to replace it, I wonder if there is any "been there done that" info on replacing with stock, aftermarket or even signals from other Suzuki bikes that may make the process easier - cheaper or work better.

I am not even opposed to something that hugs the fairing more like a marker type light.

Any words of wisdom for this Bandit newbie ?

Mine had tiny turn signals when I got it.  I replaced them with some aftermarket that are big and visible.  There's a Cycle West store a couple blocks from met that has an aisle of turn signals that I went through to find matching mounting.  No brand names on them, cheaper than stock replacements.
