b12s 1gen HID headlight mod

Hey Guys,

Has anyone out-there attempted to mod their B12s 1st-gen headlight, maybe tried to retrofit one or two projectors?

I've searches here on the Alley found the thread about the "SUZUKI Bandit 1200/600 S - Doppelscheinwerfer", available thru http://www.motorrad-bach.de/. Very nice but not HID, nor Projectors, replacement lamps are hard to find, and it costs €194 = $245.

You think I could glass-up something similar with one larger projector or maybe two 2.5" morimoto's, any thoughts?

After extensive searching on this subject I really didn't find much regarding upgrading my B12s 1st-gen headlight, but, I did find documentation regarding 2nd-gen headlights. While this doesn't answer my question directly it does provide an idea how to retrofit a single projector to my single headlamp.

I hope this helps someone else with the idea of modding their headlamp...
