Bellypan or lower half-fairing question
« on: July 20, 2007, 01:08:38 PM »
Hello to all
I would like to find a way to protect the front lower part of the frame that is exposed to road chips on my B12 2005.
I was thinking of a belly pan or a fairing. I am not sure they do protect the frame tubes from road chips.
Can anyone chime in to confirm or not confirm that?
Also do they mount with screws on the frame or do they attach on the frame with U-Bolts? I don't like that last method.

Do you guys have another method like some plastic tape or anything?

What are your experiences with fairings or bellypans?

Thanks.
