How to adjust the rear shock?
« on: July 29, 2006, 05:33:58 PM »
I looked in the manual, but couldn't find out how to adjust the rear shock.  Anyone out there have a "how to?"

I went riding two up today.  Normally I'm on my tippy toes on my bike, but today, I sat at a light with my knees bent!  Besides a stiffer shock, is there anything I can to to adust the preload on the rear shock?

Point of note:  Although I'm not the first owner of this bike, the shock looks OEM.

I have a G1 B6 and I put a G1 B12 shock on and it made a big differents.
It bolts right on. Look for a used one.

The only adjustment the B6 shock has is preload, adjustment made by turning the ring on the top of the shock using the tool from the tool kit.
