How did you guys with the 2g 1200 mount the speedo when you went streetfighter style? I am looking to do this cause the bike I have has the front cowling basically destroyed. Fairing stay bent and headlight non existant anymore.  :thanks:

I may have a solution.  I am thinking of putting a digital speedo on my naked bandit.  may be able to just give you my bracket.  Interested?

The top clamp is different on the S version. It does not have the threaded holes underneath to accept the bracket.

Just make one up yourself and use the bolts for the risers to attach it.

I have some photos here of the bracket I made and how it attaches:

what bike are you going to get the digital from? that would be cool just to see how you did that. I am sure others will follow when you get that one up.

Banditmania sell digital speedos for the B12's. It is a simple enough mod.

sorry to post so late... if your still interested anyways.  I just got the bracket from the standard model... which obviously doesn't fit the s version... so I just got some brackets from home depot for 75 cents and cut them to the right length so they extended out to bolt up to the gauge bracket.  Everything is up underneth the tree so you can't really tell unless you look really close.
