Exhaust mounting
« on: March 30, 2006, 07:55:07 AM »
Has anyone put their Exhaust straight off the manifold running down near the swingarm???
Mine is there at the moment in the picture, but I haven't ridden it like that yet. I'm pretty sure it'll touch the ground, as i'd worn down some of my standard rear sets from cornering!
I've seen a few pictures of exhausts mounted there on the www.suzukibanditclub.nl website. Anyone on here done it and are there many problems??

Thanks

Wow, that's pretty wild.  I've noticed a lot of the new bikes are putting the exhaust there, even the big catalyst equipped cans.  You can always have a buddy help you lean the bike over to see when it will touch, unless you're a real knee dragger you should be okay.  I might worry more about possibly high centering in driveways.
