Does anyone know of a decent place to get an older GSXR shock for my 1G B6?

eBay is probably your best bet. That or a BBS that caters to the older GSXR crowd.

You can also check out motorcycle salvage yards. That where I picked mine up. Ebay might be cheaper though.

Ebay is where I got mine....from a 93 750 GSXR. Cost me 80$ total shipping everything(Canadian dollars) from Illinois. I then sent it out to a suspension place have the oil changed and the nitrogen recharged. This was 120$....soooooo total cost was 200$...not bad. The only thing you should be aware of is the GSXR shock had to have a bit of the bottom ground off to fit the suspension pivot piece, quick bit of work for a die grinder. It works great!!! Although sag needs a lot of figuring out, and the spring needs to be wound quite tight,  I may get a racetech spring.

Try gixxer.com, they have a nice site, forums for the older oil cooled gsxr's and a buy, sell, trade forum.
