Not that I am a pro or anything, but if you put wider wheels on won't you have to do a swingarm transplant?

Why? The B12 wheel is 5.5" wide and will B fine for any 190x17 tire you can squeese in the swing arm. The 200 which is the same width as say avon's 190 from most MFG,rs. The busa is 6" wide, has bigger ID Brgs and diff spacers, sprocket, hub etc etc!! If you had custom wheels to fit its worth it? I just got these for my Busa! Why don't more B12 owners get theirs chromed or powdered  they are getting cheap to do! Ps there is some nice GS stuff on ebay that fits the bandit?

Changing the cornering aspect is not always a bad thing, plus a wider rear tire would put a nice foot print right?

From what I gather on the last few posts you can put 190's on the existing rim?  Is that correct?

A 190 of any mfg will fit the B12. Some are a bit wider than others. The Shinko is the widest i've used and i had to move the B-caliper support rod out on the bracket. The 190 looks good but some say won't turn in as well and gets no more miles wear than the 180. Seems to wear out in the middle if you do the superslab stuff like i do. 8k out of the shinko though.    :beers:  :bigok:

5.5" rim is min for a 190, calls for a 6" max. :beers:

FYI I saw the first 06 B12 Bandit on my N.C. trip. Brought down from Canada by one of the riders. Other than the better headlight, GSF1400 accented eng, and GIXXER front forks, the swing arm, axle assy looks too be the same as the Hayabusa has now, without the bracing of the Busa. Just in case you see a wheel for sale it won't fit the other than 06. I'm sure that will be on the model year 07 if we do get it here? :beers:
