Good-looking windshields for naked 1200?
« on: June 29, 2008, 06:28:13 PM »
I've been looking for months for a good-looking clip-on windshield for my naked 2001 Bandit 1200. Mostly I love it naked [who doesn't  :trustme:], but I'm planning a x-country ride next month and have a feeling I'm going to appreciate a bit of wind-break through the plains.

I've looked at National Cycle - the deflector screen isn't bad, but not great. Their styling hasn't changed in like 20 years, what gives? I have a National Cycle F15 - makes the otherwise clean Bandit look like a full-dress Harley. Plus, you have to take the headlight apart to install.

I've looked at MRA Speedscreen and Vario Touring, but not sure I like the look. Anyone got pics of that shield on a naked Bandit [not the S version Bandit - seen plenty of that post].

Any other suggestions? Memphis Shades? Others?

I want it to be rather low-profile but still put the wind up over my head a bit. It should remove and install pretty easily. Other than that - JUST NOT UGLY!

Thoughts?
